We have been busy in our personal lives, and having Shrew leave us kind of killed our satisfactions a bit, but we may or may not have an upcoming surprise that we thought was never going to happen...
Ok we never actually thought it was unlikely, we just never thought it was necessary. But it turns out that we may actually be moving GeekBeerz into the ".com" treatment! this is something that has been brought up quite a bit in the past. We even had comments and questions about why we haven't done it yet. In short, Blogger has always been the intention for what we were striving to achieve and therefore having to make a .com site was never really an expectation, however it was never an unlikely scenario either.
Here what everyone can know, IF we get an official website it may not be for possibly a few months. We will most likely want to start from the ground up and maybe even add new features and gimmicks. IF we get a website it will, for the most part, be the same thing that we have been doing here. We may however add more review posts and make exclusive non-YouTube videos for the site, but other than that no more no less. IF the official website is made we have no clue what will happen to this Blogspot site. Thinking about it being erased from existence makes us cringe, but if our new site will become the same deal than why would it matter? We change this to be our podcast archive site, or just leave it as something to fall back on. Really we are just usure of anything at the moment.
We promise to update on the subject when we have more of an official announcement on the subject. We will not leave you guys in the dark!

Now as for GBP Ep. 13...
This idea was something brought up by Geoff and Shrew, just before Shrew left us, and after long discussions and thought we have come to an ultimate decision.
Episode 13 will be the last episode in the GeekBeerz Podcast series.
... Unless you guys say otherwise.
Now this does not include the retro episodes at all. We will still be making those when we get the chance so we are not completely stopping everything podcast related. But it will be stopping our longest running podcast series we've ever done. By the 13th episode, it will become our longest running series of longest recorded episodes to date, being one to two episodes longer than our VGPastCast days and having episodes as long as four hours!
We have always struggled with trying to get everything prepared for when we do these episodes. It's no mystery that Taylor has missed quite a bit due to family and work conflicts. The rest of us also have had personal lives that get in the way with our planned GeekBeerz recording sessions. In short, the episodes have become time consuming, complicated, and difficult to release at the proper time.
However, our followers, fans, or readers/listeners may actually want us to keep our main podcast series going strong. IF anyone does actually, shockingly, want us to keep this series going you can let us know by picking an answer in our upcoming poll, which will be kept up for a long time so anyone will get a chance to decide and think about it. You can also keep bugging us in the comments as well.
If the last episode does become the actually last episode, for good, then we the GeekBeerz crew are totally fine with it and will be moving on to other things.
Please let us know about your opinions on the announcements if you can. Thank you.
Until next time...
