Regular Show and Adventure Time Getting New Games

That's right! WayForward has teamed up with Pendleton Ward and J.G. Quintel for two more awesome games based on the two most popular Cartoon Network shows since Teen Titans (at least according to our staff here at GB).

First of all is the sequel to Adventure Time: Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage?!! which has yet another weird yet unique title, Adventure Time: Explore This Dungeon Because I DON'T KNOW!. Unlike the first game, the sequel will feature 4 player co-op, the original voice actors from the show, and will be multi-platform. The game will be coming to 3DS, Wii-U, PS3, Xbox 360, and PC.

Secondly, WayForward also announced that they will be working closely with J.G. Quintel on an official Regular Show video game titled, Regular Show: Mordecai and Rigby in 8-bit Land. Based on the title, it will most likely feature co-op and multiple references from old NES/Master System games. The show already contains a lot of references to this type of stuff, so seeing it in the game would be pretty awesome. The game will be released as a 3DS exclusive.

"Reference" to the Sega Master System shown here.

If WayForward puts as much love and care into these games as they have done with their other games, then I'm all for buying a 3DS just for these games. There hasn't been any announcement on release dates, but we'll keep you posted if that changes any time soon.
