PS4 to not be revealed at E3?

It may seem that, with all the fuss about Microsoft and Sony releasing their next gen console, Sony has made the possible decision of not revealing the PS4 this year.

Sony President Shuhei Yoshida recently laughed off comments when asked about the possibility of a Playstation 4 launch this year. During a Playstation Vita interview, CVG threw a number of questions at the big man but he shrugged them all off saying "We have no immediate plans for another home console announcement".

But perhaps this can just be to produce more hype. An excellent strategy If true, to let let everyone expect the unexpected. But then again:

we've yet to see what the PS3 can fully do when really put through its paces (in fact Sony states that games currently on the market are not even close to pushing the system to its full potential)

So maybe Sony really is playing it smart, they perhaps realize that a new console really isn't necessary for the next couple years. Some even say that the PS3 can still remain strong until 2015! We here at GeekBeerz believe this in every way, we are just now discovering this generations consoles at their highest potential, are we REALLY ready for the next gen in the gaming world?
So what does everyone else think? There are rumors that the PS4 will be announced at E3 2013, then presumably released in the year 2014. But considering that they still made PS2 titles after the release of the PS3 for quite some time, Maybe the PS4 will come sooner then we think. But what do you guys really think is gonna happen???
