Game screenshot analysis for Spider-man, Fall of Cybertron, and Bioshock Infinite

Why am I doing this? Because i'm Bored XD, but I do think that it will be interesting to at least someone. Screenshots can teach us more of what to expect in a game, gameplay and trailers are usually too quick and too intense for you to notice much.

the Amazing Spider-man (June 26th)

  1.  Comic-true costume: the costume that is new to the movie will also be in the game, and it is awesome. The reason for the change is to bring out the character of Peter Parker, knowing the real Peter Parker in the comics. Peter in real life would have easily made a costume as cool as this. Sorry Toby (from Sam Raimi's spidey trilogy), but this Spider-man isn't a weak emotional cry baby. This one is exactly like his comic counterpart, a Bad@$$ annoying smart@$$.
  2. Photo realistic: the Beenox development team is attempting to make this game more realistic, and so far it does. The game is based on a movie, but usually movie based games never have effort put in to them due to development time. But this game seems to be getting more and more effort by the minute. Let's just hope that the same Photo realism will continue to stay.
  3. Athletic shoes?: take a good look at those shoes, notice anything? They are actual shoes! not the corny feet slip-ons that come with the tights. This could be due to this Spider-man having more of a "parkour" aspect than just swinging on webs.
  4. Utility belt: This version now has a utility belt. Many have joked that it'll be a Batman utility belt rip-off, but I doubt the belt will actually hold much. Remember, this Spidey uses web cartridges and he has to put the ammo somewhere.
  5. Cool gloves and Web cartridges: speaking of web cartridge, look at how cool and comic true it is as well as the new glove designs. It's going to be hugely interesting to see how this new feature will play out in both the movie and game. But how will this function work in the game? will it still be unlimited for game purposes or will there actually be an ammo unit that can drain and requires you to refill every now and then? Can you imagine swinging atop buildings and having your cartridge drain out midswing? That would suck! (in real life).
Transformers: Fall of Cybertron (Fall 2012)

  1.  Dinobots are HUGE: It's now obvious that the iconic Dinobots will have a size advantage over any other character (except Bruticus). High moon said that the game play for these characters will be Hugely interesting and Hugely entertaining. Who wouldn't want to play as a fire breathing (yes, they breath fire) Dinosaurs who can transform into Titans that destroying everything with Mideval weapondry?
  2. Shockwave: Personally, Shockwave is my most favorite character in the transformers universe but he is also an important character. Being the co-leader of the Decepticons and the guardian of Cybertron, as well as an inventor and brain washer, Shockwave makes to be an excellent enemy. And besides, he made the Dinobots so without him there would be no Dino's.
  3. The Torture chamber: Turns out that Shockwave's secret chamber will also be introduced. In a famous Marvel comic (not spoilers) Shockwave discovered the power that the Dinosaurs had on earth nearly 6 million years ago. He wondered how Cybertronians could have such power. So, being a sick twisted perfectionist, he kidnapped a small group of Autobots and reconfigured them to have Dinosaur alternate modes, and also brain washed them in hopes to create an army of what he called "Dinobots". The experimentation issue could play a huge role in the games story.
  4. No cannon arm: there are three things that make Shockwave iconic: his cyclopian eye, purple color scheme, and his gun arm. Where is his gun arm? well, given the fact that characters are able to use multiple different guns and weapons, it would be kinda stupid for Shocky to use one big gun the entire time. Some may get disappointed by this, but it was revealed that each character has a unique perk (for example: Jazz can use a grapple gun to climb structures) so maybe Shockwave's perk is using a strong gun arm?

Bioshock Infinite (October 16th)

  1.   Meet the HandyMen: originally called the "Alphas" during production stages, the handymen are one of the new heavy hitters promised to give you a fight of a lifetime. These enemies will act as mini bosses, who are able to jump incredibly high and will not leave you alone until you destroy them for good. Kevin Levine said that each Handy men will have their own unique look and their own origin stories to how they became Handy men. Try to run away from these guys, they are capable of throwing any nearby objects, even foes and allies, at you and will never miss.
  2. Heart of a monster: these mini bosses are not mindless machines, they have a heart (joking aside). But could these hearts be the key to stopping these monstrosities? I mean, there just sitting there on the chest in plain view.
  3. Hand whackage: Nothing of a reveal here, but it's gonna hurt to be punched or slapped by those things!
