Today at PAX East, Alex Kain and Dean Dodrill had a panel talking about their game, how it was made, and the struggles of indie game development. At the end of the panel, they threw out a surprise announcement. Dust: An Elysian Tail official Steam trailer! Check it out along with more info after the jump.
After the announcement, they had a Q&A for the fans. Some of the more interesting questions that were answered were:
- Merchandising has been considered and may be a thing.
- Elysian Tail universe may be revisited, but not with the next project.
- Elysian Tail movie might be released some day, but not anytime soon.
- Story beats cut from Dust: An Elysian Tail will be put into an eventual sequel along with better, cooler game mechanics.
The Steam release of Dust is expected to hit this April, so check keep an eye out for it!
