How you found EVERY secret in Arkham City????

Arkham City is about to get a major Game of the year release and a new DLC story expansion, but now Rocksteady is giving us more things to consider.

Rocksteady has confirmed that not every secret has been found in Arkham City, at least 3-4 more secrets are left to be discovered. Holy cow! Most of the already found secrets were pretty hard themselves, how in the world are we gonna be able to find out these last ones? Don't even try to look them up on the computer, as of now nobody has discovered them.

Taylor (Member of Geekbeerz and a huge Batman fan like me) better be prepared for the biggest "Bat Hunt" of his life. If we find any of these remaining secrets we will post about it...

Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 gets a Cinematic intro

Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 come out in America sometime in Fall, but already they are making us get excited. Japan has just released this new Animated intro that goes through as course of various events. Sorry that it's in Japanese, but it is still easy to know what is happening. The best part is that this short intro alone is a hundred times better than the TV show!

Darksiders II comes out August 14th + new Cg trailer

People were saddened by the delay for Darksiders, which was said to be pushed to August, but now we can gladly sit back and admire a surprising early release in August.

The game now comes out on August 14th for PS3 and 360. Also here is a new trailer to keep you entertained until then. Yes it doesn't show too terribly much, but we do get to see Death's Reaper form!

the PSP is basically Dead

Yes the handheld is still a huge hit in Japan, but what is its status in America? Or anywhere else for that matter? Reports have revealed that a majority of smaller Gamestop stores are getting rid of anything that is PSP or PSP related for the sake of bringing in the new products such as games for the Vita, 3DS, and even early preparation for the Wii U.

This was clearly going to happen sooner or later, Sony has done very little with the Portable for the last two years or more. It is now clear that Sony has all its handheld interests in the Vita, and that PSP would just die off similar to how the DS killed the Gameboy, or how the 3DS will potentially kill off the original DS...

Despite all this, a few of the Larger Gamestop stores will still have PSP products, but they'll forever be seen as an old school product possibly next to the PS2 and PS one games.

Sony's financial crisis: the good and the bad

It's now no secret that this year Sony has been through Hell. Ever since the major Japan Earthquake the company hasn't been doing well financially. With their 6.4 billion dollar loss, what can we expect to see in Sony's, and especially Playstation's, future?

LAST YEAR: while the Playstation did win over the other consoles with HD remakes and major exclusives, the console itself has not sold much. In 2011 the PS3 sold 13.9 million units, down 400,000 units from the year before. the PSP also has its go, with 8 million units now down to 6.8 million units (of course this doesn't matter too much for Sony since their eyes are now on the Vita) and even the old PS2 was able to sell 4.1 million units, sadly being down from 6.4 million from the year before. And please, don't get me started on their TV's, which are down 18.5 percent year over year...

TODAY: Sony says that despite last years PS3 decrease of sales, the console is still a mere 3.3 million units away from Xbox 360 sales worldwide, which is really good especially since the Xbox was one year ahead of PS3, and analyst suggest that if the PS3 came out the same year as the 360 did then they would actually be winning the race. The PSP continues to still be a huge hit in Japan. And the Vita, while having a very slow start, is now starting to grow in sales. The games for the PS3, especially exclusives, are now and still selling very very strong.

THE FUTURE: Sony has announced at the upcoming E3 2012 they will be revealing 20 games, which shows how prepared they are to compete with Nintendo's Wii U. Also there is a possibility of the Vita getting a price cut this year too, meaning that sales will start to hugely increase for the handheld. Besides the 20 games for PS3, you can expect the Vita to get lots and lots of new games in its future, which is good. Sony seems to have plans to work more closely on it's Video game corner of the industry, which is huge news for any gamer. And while Sony is still expected to reveal the PS4 in late 2013, they still have complete faith in the PS3 to stay strong against the 360, Wii, and the upcoming Wii U.

I'm not sure what questions to ask, but what are people's thoughts on this?

Halo 4 gets its cover art, good job Microsoft!

Fans and gamers were given a chance to piece together a puzzle to reveal this art, for promotional reasons. It has also been confirmed that this will actually be the cover art for the actual game itself! Wow dang! Typically Xbox gets a bad rep for making bland or poor covers for their games (just look at Halo 3 for example) but this is without a doubt the most amazing cover art that has ever been done for an Xbox game, good job Microsoft.

Here is the cover art, the game will be released for the 360 on November 6th ...

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 major world premiere today... Oh... My ... Crap!

Yes the rumors were true as the earth does spin, Call of Duty's next game is in fact Black Ops 2. But Treyarch's next game is a bit different from the first one that took place in the 1960's cold war, because this sequel takes place in 2025.

Yep, 2025, a huge leap for both Treyarch and Activision. While the game is obviously not a direct sequel, character Frank Woods from the first game does return as a really old war veteran. He actually narrates the video below. Apparently machine turns against man in this one, an overused plot, but still that a minor reveal from very small info.

Here is the vid:

So do you think this will truly be the uprising that Activision needs to bring something new other then the copy/paste stuff from the last four years? Or will this just be another clone? Also, will there be freaking Zombies in this one? Please let there be at least Zombies...

Playstation All-stars Battle Royale announced / Tom West impressed

That's right, and oh jeez. Playstation is making a game that is extremely similar to "Super Smash Bros." games, the difference? It is different!

This game has huge similarities with Nintendo's title, having all company-based characters beating the crap out of each other on a big open level that's unique and whatnot. But there are indeed striking differences, for example: pretty much all of Nintendo characters are E rated fighters at best, Sony however has multiple characters from all types of ratings (Kratos=M, Sackboy=E, Sly Cooper=T, etc.). Another difference is that this game, as far as we know, actually uses life bars instead of the hit point strategy in Smash Bros.. The background also constantly changes, now we aren't sure how this works exactly. The background can go from having Patapon's marching (like the picture above) to becoming a LittleBigPlanet forest world. It seems as though you can pick the actual level stage, like the one above being Hades underworld, and probably picking what backgrounds appear. Agian, nothing is for sure at this point.

Yeah it takes an idea from Nintendo, but all games basically take ideas from somewhere. And I am personally impressed with this game. I don't care if it's Nintendo, Playstation, or Xbox even, I just want to play my favorite characters and beat the crap out of others :D

Now here's a thought, will Xbox do something similar in the future?

So far the only characters revealed are Sweet Tooth, Fat Princess, Kratos, Helghan soldier, and Sly Cooper but many more will be revealed in the coming months. No release date for this game is confirmed?

What do you guys think? Is this a good idea to make a Playstation version of Smash Bros.? Or do you nitpick and believe that creativity is dead?

Everything you need to know about Pokemon Conquest (a.k.a. + Nobunaga's Ambition)

Remember when we revealed Pokemon + Nobunaga's Ambition a while back? Well it is indeed coming to the US! But the name for America has been changed to Pokemon Conquest, and we ain't complainin!

But what are we to expect from this Pokemon entry? Surely this new turn that Gamefreak has attempted is reasonably questionable. Here is a list of what we already know about this:
  • the game is actually a Mix of two different franchises, one is Pokemon and the other is Nobunaga's Ambition which is a hugely popular RPG series in Japan.
  • the game takes place sometime in the past, long before the events of Pokemon Red and Blue, and takes place in a Mideval landscape known as the Ransei region which consists of 17 castles (or nations) each with Military commanders paired with specific pokemon.
  • your starter Pokemon will be an Eevee, a good starter that can evolve into one of seven different evolutions. But you can also befriend a variety of other Pokemon, not all 649 Pokemon are in the game but all the Pokemon in the game are handpicked specifically from each of the five generations.
  • Instead of playing as a trainer, you will play as a Warlord (specifically the "Hero") and your character will age and rank the more you play and strengthen him or her. The Warlords have unique types assigned to them which strengthens if you have a Pokemon of the same type by a special Link or Bondage that can be 100% linked to specific Pokemon. Each Warlord can have up to three Pokemon at a time, or three out per battle.
  • Nobunaga himself will appear as the main Warlord leader, second main next to your main protagonist, and he will have strong Pokemon companions such as Black Rayquaza and Zekrom.
  • as a side note, other Warlords will also age and rank as the game progresses.
  • there will also be warriors in the game, they are spread out randomly throughout the nations in Ransei region. Each will also have special links to specific Pokemon.
  • you will be able to unlock special episodes after defeating each Warlord, specifically Nobunaga, and you can also collect and befriend new warlords.
  • you can't exactly go into a bush and capture new Pokemon, but there will be an occasional swarm that will appear in various locations, when they are announced they will only stay for that specific month. Not many Pokemon are available in these swarms but many of them can evolve into powerful ones.
  • you can use six warriors per battle, and each can only use one Pokemon per battle.you decide which to choose in a battle by type advantage, movement abilities, and support.
  • Pokemon still evolve by leveling, but by the Link increase between you and your specific Pokemon. If your link level to that Pokemon is low, then it will take longer to evolve.
  • When a Warlord ranks, it is shown through an evolution-like process. When a Warlord evolves, their stats increase and they are able to befriend and raise even more Pokemon and even a different best link Pokemon.
  • you control up to six Pokemon in various combat scenarios, this is done via isometric view and is turn-based.
  • the game takes approximately 20 hours to complete. But many new missions appear at the end of the game that increases that time tenfold.
  • Overall, the goal is to befriend as many Pokemon and Warlords as you can in order to increase your army and take over the nations.

The game has already released in Japan last month, and will be released in America on June 18th
