While looking up a list of scary/survival horror/bizzare/ etc. video games we came across one that left us questioning it. It's called Eversion.
For those who don't know, eversion apparently is a game where you play as a flower dude who has the ability to "evert" everything to look very very... different. The game may look all cute and kid fun, but then it soon becomes something else. Well we never heard of it so we decided to give the game a try. Parts 1 and 2 are already available to watch below or on you tube, we can't promise how many parts we're gonna make but part 3 will possibly be recorded tonight.

Halloween Countdown 4: Slender getting a Sequel!
Slender was a very basic but extremely popular indie horror. Blue Isle studios knows this, and is now planning a sequel!
The sequel will be a commercial release, meaning that it won't be free like the original. The sequel will be titled "Slender: the Arrival". More news is Sure to come out asap, but what does everyone else think about this? Will this sequel be as good or better than the first game? Or will it be too updated by Blue Isle and turned into another one of those ripoffs?

Halloween Countdown 3: Scary Honor #1
Game: Slender
For: PC
Price: Free
Scare Level: 9/10
Synopsis: Using only a flashlight, walk through the forest and collect 8 notebook pages before the mysterious Slender Man finds and gets you.
So What?: Slender is a very recent game, it is also one of the very recent most talked about game too. While the idea and basis around it seems very simple. The atmosphere, quietness, and the Slender Man itself is what makes this game so terrifyingly legit! We prefer that you play this one with friends or someone, unless you're brave enough to do it alone!
The game is free to download, and is safe for anyone to play (that doesn't include scare factor, if you have a child that can't handle really scary then it's not a game for him/her)
I your Computer can run it, you can download it here: http://slender.en.softonic.com/

Halloween Countdown 1: Amnesia sales hit one Million!
Halloween is closing in. Stores have already put costumes on the shelves. And GeekBeerz has many plans for the scary Holiday.
Halloween countdown will report any news concerning that of scary Horror games, Movies, TV shows, etc.
All which will lead up to Halloween nights itself where we will hopefully have our second Halloween Special!!! (which will be episode 12 or 13).
Anyways, the Horror PC game that has Horror fans at a wow has just past 1 Million sales!
For anyone who doesn't know, the game follows the tale of a character named Daniel. Daniel awakens in a Prussian Castle with little to know memory of anything or how how he got there, he only remembers his name. Daniel discovers a note written to himself, from which he learns that he has deliberately erased his own memory, and that he needs to descend into the Inner Sanctum of the castle to kill the Baron, Alexander. The game is currently available for PC (Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, Linux, and Cloud) by Steam or Retail.
Frictional Games revealed that nearly 1.4 million people have purchased Amnesia: the Dark Descent. According to a Blog post from the developer, 710,000 copies of the game were sold directly, as well as sales from inclusions in the Humble Indie Horror and Steam’s Potato Sack Reunion. Overall, the sales add up to 1,360,000 units in all.
“Despite that huge number of sales, what I think is more interesting is how good the monthly sales still are,” Frictional noted. “Not counting any discounts, the monthly full price sales lie at over 10,000 units. This means that less than every 5th minute someone in the world is buying a copy of Amnesia.”
On a side note, it's sequel, Amnesia: a Machine for Pigs, will come out within the first quarter of 2013, and will apparently takes place in the same universe as dark descent but follows completely new characters.

New Dead Space feels like old Dead Space
As people were when the second installment first came out, the fans worried about whether or not the game would actually be scary or not. I worried too, with the announcement of Co-op being a choice and the early teasers showing off just mostly the shooting aspects, one can wonder if this would just become another Shoot-em up game... It's not!
Single player alone is said to still be as scary as the original one was, perhaps even scarier, and the Co-op has been said by early viewers to be something that works and has never been seen in a co-op campaign before. But this new trailer released by EA and Visceral helps to ensure that promise tenfold!

E3 2012 reveals- PART 1
E3 doesn't unveil until tomorrow, but a butt load of games have already made their reveal for their presence at this year's E3.
DEAD SPACE 3
Yep, the rumors and speculations were true. The next story for Isaac Clarke, and possibly his last, will officially make it's reveal at E3 on Monday. The rumors of the game taking place on an ice planet were also true, for the story involves Isaac crash landing on the planet accidentally when heading for earth after the events of Dead Space 2. He eventually teams up with a friend [speculation believes this friend will be John Carver from the animated short] and both attempt to find a way off the planet.
Turns out that the game does have on and off co-op, meaning that the story either progress with another protagonist or it doesn't. Even cutscenes and many story elements will be changed depending on whether the game mode is co-op or not. It's great that you have the choice of scaring yourself solo, or to have a buddy around to get scared also.
Yes, of course the freakin Necromorphs are back! Do we even have to question it? Ane yes there are many new types of Necromorph including taller and older versions of the pack, and a creature with legs and tentacles emitting from it's torso. But those aren't the only enemies you fight.
For the first time ever in Dead Space, there will actually be Human enemies! who also have rigs, plasma cutters, and special grenades. It's even more terrifying when you have to kill the same person twice, some of these human enemies turn into Necromorphs right after you kill them.
Stay tuned for Monday when they reveal more about the game, and hopefully a release date and gameplay trailer, heck a cinematic trailer would be great too!
CASTLEVANIA: LORDS OF SHADOW 2
The first game was surprisingly appraised by Gameinformer, IGN, and other review sites, despite it being very different from the traditional Castlevania games. As for the fans, it's a mix of all sorts of feelings. Either way it turns out that there will be a sequel, and possibly the last Lords of Shadow game in the very short saga.
The game will once again star Gabriel, who starts off his story right after the events of the first game. Not much else is revealed yet other then the release date, which is March 2013, but who is that at the end of the trailer? Alucard??? Watch below:
More game details will hopefully emerge sometime this upcoming week...
TOMB RAIDER
The one game that many anticipate, but many also worry about. The Tomb Raider origin game has finally shown some really intriguing gameplay and story details that might even make non fans interested.
Ever wondered if Lara Croft really loves Tombs? Ever wondered who her first Kill was? Then check out the cool Gameplay trailer below:
The graphics are obviously very impressive, as good as the freaking Uncharted games! And the story will have a lot of mystery to it... Obviously. Square Enix personally has my faith in it, how about yours? The game comes out on March 5th 2013.

New Dead Space graphic novel hints at clues for the next game
As many know, a new Dead Space game is suppose to reveal at this years E3, and many believe it's Dead Space 3. A new graphic novel short however hints at just what the next story will be.
The comic covers a new character named Sergeant John Carver as he patrols on planet Uxor. There is a Marker involved, some monsters, and loved ones in immediate danger. Is this just a teaser for a new novel series, or an actual hint towards the next game? Rumors also say that this character might be the Co-op partner of Isaac Clarke in Dead Space 3, which is still rumored to possibly have on and off Co-op.

Among the Sleep horror game's protagonist is a Toddler?
Among the Sleep is a newly announced Survival Horror game that puts you in the pajamas of a 2 year old Toddler that wanders off from his crib.
Not much is revealed about the game, but it does look like a terrifying game. The video tease below shows off some brief gameplay. The atmosphere is perfect and the creepy house setting is also perfect, and don't forget the child's breathing. Some supernatural stuff will apparently occur and a creature of some sort is briefly seen in a door window which suggests monsters in the game too. No word on whether there will be enemies that attack or not.
The game comes out next year for the PC and Mac, no word on possible console versions though...
